As part of Alimentaria-Hostelco 2026, which closed a record-breaking edition with 109,600 visitors, the president of FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta, accompanied by Xavi Puig, board member responsible for women\u2019s football; Bojan Krki\u0107, coordinator of the Football Area; and Enric Masip, advisor to the presidency, visited the Noel stand.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the blaugrana delegation showed their support for the fight against childhood cancer by posing with the \u201cThe Signing We\u2019re Missing\u201d shirt, the new solidarity campaign of the Albert Bosch Foundation, an entity promoted by Noel. The goal is to raise \u20ac910,000 to enable the creation of a new pioneering scientific infrastructure in Spain dedicated to pediatric oncology at the Vall d\u2019Hebron Research Institute (VHIR).<\/p>\n

This new high-performance unit will be made up of highly qualified professionals in translational research, a specialized team of doctors, bioinformaticians, and researchers, as well as advanced robotic technology. It will help accelerate the development of new drugs specifically for childhood cancer.<\/p>\n

The name of the campaign, \u201cThe Signing We\u2019re Missing\u201d, is a metaphor representing the creation of this new state-of-the-art research unit, using sports language to bring a scientific and social need\u2014still not very visible\u2014into the spotlight.<\/p>\n


\n\u2014\u00a0 About the Albert Bosch Foundation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Created in 2004, the A. Bosch Foundation is an entity promoted by Noel Alimentaria, SAU, with the aim of bringing the company\u2019s values to society. Its mission is to contribute to people\u2019s well-being and health throughout their lives. For this reason, the foundation promotes research into medical, biomedical, and surgical solutions for childhood diseases, mainly cancer, which is the leading cause of death among children and adolescents aged 5 to 14 in Catalonia.<\/p>\n

The foundation is named after Albert Bosch Sala, in memory of the driving force behind Noel and father of Anna Bosch G\u00fcell, the current president of the foundation.<\/p>\n
