The project includes a new highly automated production line that will enable the company to triple its output.<\/li>\n<li>These milestones consolidate the company\u2019s position as Spain\u2019s leading manufacturer of chilled vegetable soups and support its expansion into international markets such as the United Kingdom and Japan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Tap Tap Food, a company that is 50% owned by Noel Alimentaria and specialises in the production of vegetable soups, gazpachos, broths, sauces and dressings, closed the 2025 financial year with turnover of \u20ac14 million and a production volume of 5,010 tonnes. These figures represent increases of 40% and 35%, respectively, compared with the previous year. The company expects to maintain this upward trend throughout 2026. These positive results coincide with the completion of the expansion work at its Sant Joan les Fonts facility.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Backed by an investment of \u20ac7 million, the project has increased the production facility\u2019s total floor space from 3,340 m\u00b2 to 4,344 m\u00b2. From an operational perspective, the main development has been the installation of a new highly automated production line. This is enabling the company to progressively triple its production rate for soups and sauces, increasing weekly output from 120 tonnes to a forecast 300 tonnes by 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">According to Juli\u00e0 Riera, Managing Director of Tap Tap Food, \u201cThe sustained growth achieved over recent years has enabled us to consolidate our leadership in the chilled vegetable soup segment and strengthen our international presence. These positive results confirm that we are on the right path and encourage us to continue investing in innovation, production capacity and the development of new markets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>\u2014 Market leadership in Spain and global expansion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The new production line has strengthened Tap Tap Food\u2019s ability to respond to growing market demand and consolidate its position as Spain\u2019s leading producer and distributor of chilled vegetable soups.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This growth is being driven by the rise of ready-to-eat products, a category that is becoming increasingly prominent in consumer habits. Tap Tap Food\u2019s products respond to the demand for practical and healthy solutions made with fresh ingredients. They are designed for consumers who want to save time without compromising on nutritional quality.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This successful formula, combining innovation, convenience and nutritional quality, has also supported the company\u2019s international expansion. Tap Tap Food already sells its products in markets including the United Kingdom \u2014where the company exported 145 tonnes of fresh gazpacho in 2025\u2014 as well as Portugal, Denmark, France, Italy, Japan and Mexico.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>\u2014 Commitment to sustainability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">In line with its commitment to responsible production, the Sant Joan les Fonts facility has been designed according to strict environmental sustainability criteria. In terms of production, the facility incorporates water recovery systems with automated controls to minimise consumption, as well as LED lighting and high-efficiency equipment.<\/p>\n<p>The company is also implementing a comprehensive project to combat food waste, ranging from donations to food banks to research into new ways of recovering and reusing vegetable waste. These measures are complemented by a self-consumption energy model, as Tap Tap Food uses the steam and hot water generated by Noel\u2019s cogeneration plant.
