Noel Origins

Farms: the origin of quality

Noel Origins is an initiative that arose from the commitment to guarantee maximum quality from origin, supporting our own farming model. Since 2020, we have invested in our own farms as part of a project that prioritises animal welfare and respect for the environment, aware that the excellence of our products begins in the livestock farming sector.

A supplier with added value

Control

We comprehensively supervise and control the whole value chain, from beginning to end.

Adaptability

We determine and adapt the final quality of the products by first defining the genetics, food and animal welfare, depending on the needs and objectives; for our own brand projects, as well as for distribution brands.

Balance

We are a partner with different, perfectly balanced, business units (rearing, abattoir, cutting and production), able to offer guarantees of supply, stability of prices and ensure a lasting, stable and sustainable commercial relationship.

The farmer at the centre

The person who knows most about the management of a farm is the farmer. Their knowledge, experience, dedication and commitment are key to guaranteeing good management of the farm and compliance of all the requirements that allow us to get the best quality raw material. This is why the farmer is more than a supplier. They are our allies, our fellow traveller and our partner, directly participating in the Noel Origins project as an investor as well.

Compliance of animal welfare standards, as well as applying additional measures

Control of the particular genetics on each farm

Ensuring the integrity of the whole process

Adaptability of the model for setting the prices

Absolute control of the food and the fattening process

A step forward in animal welfare

4 Principles
12 criteria

Good shelter

Far from staying here, at Noel we take a step forward in animal welfare, expanding it with new criteria:

Welfare Quality® is the only existing welfare certification in which the assessment protocols have been confirmed by a consortium of EU scientists in two European projects, Welfare Quality and AWIN (Animal Welfare Indicator Network).
