On June 6, we had the pleasure of welcoming the President of the Parliament of Catalonia, Josep Rull, to our facilities, along with members of the Parliament’s Committees on Ecological Transition, Business and Employment, and Economy and Finance. We were also joined by a delegation of entrepreneurs associated with FemCAT (Private Foundation of Entrepreneurs of Catalonia).
The visit was part of the “Parliament and Business” program, an initiative that brings the country’s business reality closer to its institutional representatives. During the visit, attendees had the opportunity to learn first-hand about our company from Noel’s presidents, Anna Bosch and Joan Boix, as well as several members of the management team.
The energy model was the main topic of the meeting. Jordi Duch, Noel’s Corporate Industrial Director, explained the current situation of the company and the main future challenges in terms of energy and climate action. Strategies related to energy generation and savings, resource reuse, and the reduction of water and plastic consumption were also shared. More than 60 people visited the cogeneration plant and Noel 4.
At FemCAT and Noel, we share values such as social cohesion, competitiveness, and internationalization. Together, we will continue working toward a more sustainable and responsible future.
