- Noel joins the La Vuelta family as an Official Sponsor
- The food group based in La Garrotxa (Girona) will have its brand present on the race bibs
Noel Alimentaria and Unipublic have signed an agreement that makes the brand an Official Sponsor of La Vuelta. The collaboration was formalised at Noel Alimentaria’s facilities in Sant Joan les Fonts (Girona), at an event attended by Javier Guillén, general director of La Vuelta; Joan Boix, president of Noel; María Sánchez, corporate marketing director of Noel, among other representatives from both organisations. Through this alliance, Noel will be present on the riders’ bibs and will strengthen its visibility along the route through the arch located eight kilometres from the finish line, as well as forming part of the advertising caravan.
With this agreement, Noel Alimentaria reinforces its commitment to sport as a vehicle for promoting healthy lifestyle habits and connecting with a broad and diverse audience. The alliance is part of both organisations’ desire to promote these habits and bring the values of effort and self-improvement closer to the public, values that are present both in the competition and in people’s daily lives. For Noel, this link with sport, and especially with cycling, forms part of its long-standing history, as it has sponsored Club Infantil Ciclista Olot for more than four decades, as well as Club Ciclista Bas, which organises the annual “La Remences” cycle tourism ride, a benchmark initiative in road cycling.
In the words of Maria Sánchez, corporate marketing director of Noel, “at Noel we understand that food and sport are two fundamental pillars for promoting a healthy lifestyle. That is why we are especially excited to join La Vuelta, one of the most emblematic sports competitions in our country and an international benchmark that inspires millions of people. We share values such as effort, perseverance, self-improvement and commitment, principles that form part of both the spirit of the race and the way we work every day to offer quality products to our consumers”.
Javier Guillén, general director of La Vuelta, highlighted that “the incorporation of Noel Alimentaria as an Official Sponsor reinforces La Vuelta’s ability to continue adding strategic allies who share our values and our way of understanding sport. Its presence on the cyclists’ bibs symbolises a natural union with a race that is experienced through closeness, effort and commitment to the fans”.
During the competition period, Noel will launch various promotional actions linked to La Vuelta. These include activations at points of sale located in towns close to the race route, as well as a promotion aimed at consumers of Delizias, its most emblematic range of sliced charcuterie, whose products will feature a limited-edition La Vuelta packaging design. By purchasing products from the brand, participants will be able to enter the draw for a daily smartwatch and a bicycle as the final prize.
