Last Friday, we welcomed the Minister for Business and Labour of the Government of Catalonia, Miquel Sàmper, to our headquarters in Sant Joan les Fonts, on the occasion of the Day of the Company — an initiative promoted by the Government to recognise the contribution of businesses to the country’s progress.
Upon his arrival at Noel, he was received by our President, Joan Boix, and our Managing Director, Xavier Boix, with whom he shared an initial institutional meeting and a group photograph. The Mayor of Sant Joan les Fonts, Maria Vidal, also joined the visit, representing the local council.
— A visit of recognition
During the meeting, held in the boardroom of our headquarters, we were able to present our company in greater detail and share an update on Noel’s current context. Afterwards, the Minister signed the Guest Book and took part in a guided tour of our Noel 4 plant, which specialises in cured minced products and specialities, accompanied by Jordi Duch and Jaume Planella.
— As part of the Day of the Company
This institutional visit is part of the activities organised for the Day of the Company, which this year included visits to nearly seventy companies across Catalonia, among them Noel Alimentaria. The aim of the initiative is to acknowledge the work of the business network and of all the people who make it possible: owners, employees, self-employed professionals and entrepreneurs.
At Noel, we sincerely appreciate Minister Sàmper’s visit and his interest in learning more about our activity first-hand.
