We had the honour of welcoming the Hon. Mr Òscar Ordeig, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food Spokesperson of the Government of Catalonia, to our headquarters in Sant Joan les Fonts. This institutional visit gave us the opportunity to share our business reality, strengthen ties with the territory and highlight Noel’s commitment to the Catalan agri-food sector.
— Getting to know our company up close
Upon arrival, the Minister was welcomed by Noel’s presidency and general management, together with institutional representatives such as Santi Reixach, President of the Garrotxa Regional Council, and Maria Vidal, Mayor of Sant Joan les Fonts. The visit was also attended by Rosa Cubel, Secretary for Food; Josep Guix, Director of Territorial Services in Girona; Miquel Almansa, Head of the Minister’s Cabinet; and Ignasi Pons, Secretary General of FECIC. Following an official welcome and the traditional group photograph, an institutional meeting was held with members of Noel’s management team, during which our corporate strategy and future vision were presented. The meeting concluded with the Minister signing Noel’s book of honour.
— Tour of the facilities
The visit continued with a tour of the cured minced products and specialities plant (Noel 4), guided by Jaume Planella, Corporate Director of R&D&I, and Jordi Duch, Corporate Industrial Director, who showcased our production model and the technological advances applied to our processes first-hand.
This visit strengthens collaboration between the public sector and the business community and highlights our commitment to innovation, quality and the sustainable development of the territory. We sincerely thank Minister Òscar Ordeig for his interest and willingness to learn more about Noel’s activities and challenges.
